One fine morning, I was happily Tumblring, scrolling through pretentious pictures and Paris Fashion Week photos until I came across ThinkNorth’s poster vector. But wait, I remembered his logo being at the bottom of the poster, why is it not there?

Then I realized two things. This poster was posted by cheynesaw, so it could be that:

One, cheynesaw vectored his/her own poster which has the same concept and icons as ThinkNorth’s. Or two, cheynesaw decided to crop out ThinkNorth’s logo at the bottom of the poster and repost it without credits whatsoever, subtly screaming into the Tumblrverse: “Look what I made everyone! Am I not amazing and creative?” (Another possibility is that ThinkNorth stole it from cheynesaw and put his logo in but obviously not lol.)

All I’m saying is this: I’m a graphic designer / illustrator myself and I always believe in individuality and all that shit. So I’d hate it if people copied my ideas and used it as their own, relative to this situation here.

Likewise for Tumblrs who post photos and either don’t credit or filled in the “source” and the “Set a click-through link” portion with their obnoxious urls. Did you take those photos? Are you just lazy to credit? Do you blindly crave for Tumblr fame?

I just wasted my beautiful morning typing this out and not making some delicious aglio olio in hope that Tumblrers would grow up and give the respective photographers, artists etc the credit they worked hard for.
